This is the log Mary Astor kept in 1932 on her yachting trip to Hawaii where her daughter was born. Part of it was written by her then sister-in-law Clara Thorpe Stuart because, during most of the actual sea trip, Astor was pregnant and suffering from both sea sickness and the various ills a pregnant woman might experience at sea. Once arriving in Hawaii she took over the writing and discusses who she met and what she did during her stay including the birth of her daughter. It has been edited for calcification purposes only. The log is copyrighted by the Roh family and I was kindly given permission to include it here.
